Hello and good afternoon all. Today we say goodbye to our colleague Sarah Rose, who has served as political director and most recently as executive vice president of CLCV. Sarah will be heading up the Western Conservation Foundation’s operations in California, working to build the advocacy and civic infrastructure needed to ensure that the conservation values of the West are reflected in public policy. We’re thrilled for Sarah and glad she will remain part of our conservation “family” in the Golden State; most of all we are grateful for her many years of work to elect environmental champions who protect California’s communities, natural resources, and wild open spaces.
